We legit spend at least 1 hour picking wood out. You can use it as a corner desk, but it also works in the center of the room as well. The wood top is solid pine that was salvaged from a project of ours. Then i put the desk on the floor on top of the sheets and used little shims of wood to ensure it was perfectly level because my floor is not.
